The popular summer event is back with a splash! Benicia celebrates its picturesque waterfront locale with two days of live music, microbrew tastings, arts & crafts marketplace, delectable gourmet foods, and kids’ activity area.  

King of the County BBQ & Music Festival is excited to expand our 15th festival to 3 days on the June 16-18 Father's Day Weekend in beautiful Waterfront Park in historic Downtown Martinez by the California Delta. We have added Friday (5-9pm) for a 3rd day in addition to Saturday (11am-8pm) and Father's Day Sunday (11am-6pm).
This popular FREE community event offers fun for the entire family. King of the County draws 10,000+ attendees from all over the Diablo Valley, East Bay, Solano County and San Francisco Bay Area to enjoy BBQ, live music from top local bands, arts and crafts booths and commercial exhibitors, carnival rides, more eclectic food vendors and other special attractions. Join the many businesses and organizations that have benefited from sponsoring King of the County since our debut in 2007.
We have added a large section of carnival rides for kids and the whole family.

Burning Cat 2020 is an event for people who are tired of screens and want to have fun face-to-face. Burning Cat is a card gaming, tabletop playing, pop-culture EVENT by the creators of Exploding Kittens & the webcomic the Oatmeal!

At this event things will happen. You will play games. You will learn things. People will talk. A large man will be dressed as a cat. You do not have to talk to this man. A cat might explode. We suggest you avoid this cat.

We’ve attended a lot of gaming conventions. A lot of them. There are things we like. We like the fans. We like the games. We like the creativity. But there are many things that we don’t like. We don’t like that most conventions are basically a glorified shopping mall. We don’t like that despite being a gaming convention, very few people play actual games, or have actual fun.

So, we decided to reboot the idea of a convention. We decided to build something new, from the ground up. We decided to focus on a core philosophy: this is a con you attend if you want to have actual fun. This is a place to observe and/or participate in games, comedy, and creativity. This is a place for tabletop gamers, card game players, casual party game players, families who love games, game makers, or anyone who ever hosted a game night.

What is Silicon Valley Comic Con? Silicon Valley Comic Con brings together America’s two greatest superheroes: Pop Culture and Technology. Presented by Steve Wozniak and featuring top celebrities, comics, independent artists, cosplay, video games, consumer electronics, and more. Silicon Valley Comic Con is where entertainment and our electronic worlds intersect.

CatCon is the biggest cat-centric, pop culture event in the world dedicated to all things feline, with a community of cat lovers that spans the globe. Part expo, part symposium, CatCon engages, educates and entertains thousands of fans, featuring the latest in groundbreaking products and ideas for cats and their people. Since its inception in 2015, the annual two-day immersive experience has welcomed 62,000 attendees, helped almost 500 cats find their forever homes, and donated over $193,000 to cat organizations. 2018 saw 174 cat adoptions in the CatCon Adoption Village, presented in partnership with 9Lives® Cat Food and World’s Best Cat Litter™. The event has been featured in over 1,000 outlets around the world, including The New York Times, BuzzFeed, Reuters, Vanity Fair, and Glamour.

CatCon will take place Saturday, June 29th – Sunday, June 30th, 2019 at the Pasadena Convention Center, in Pasadena, California (just 15 minutes from Downtown Los Angeles). For our fifth anniversary, we are planning the most epic CatCon ever!
